Helios Erfurt: New Reference center for surgical endoscopy

Only a few hospitals in Germany are certified by the German Society for General and Visceral Surgery (DGAV) as a “Reference Center for Surgical Endoscopy.”

Our department is one of only two clinics in Germany to be certified as a "Reference Center for Surgical Endoscopy" by the German Society for General and Visceral Surgery (DGAV).

The certification places high demands on employees, the equipment and cooperation with other specialist clinics. We are pleased that our team has met these challenges.

Surgical endoscopy" is a department of the Clinic for General and Visceral Surgery at Helios Hospital Erfurt and is run exclusively by experienced surgeons. This enables us to perform all endoscopic procedures before, during or after surgical interventions as required and to offer our patients gentle treatment.

This award underlines the high quality of our endoscopy department.
