The Helios Agnes Karll Hospital in Bad Schwartau has four wards with almost 100 available beds and offers with 38 inpatient doctors a spectrum of eleven medical departments. At times when the inpatient doctors aren't in the hospital, the medical care of the inpatients will be taken on by employed assistant doctors. Consequently, despite the status of a physician's admitting hospital, a 24 hour presence of doctors can be ensured.
