Park Hospital belongs to the famous university of Leipzig. Studies are constantly being conducted at the clinic which allows using of latest medical achievements in the patients treatment : at the moment, only in the area of visceral oncology, 24 clinical trials are being conducted here.
Constant contact with the community of the Leipzig University and the teaching activity of medical practitioners provide a scientific approach to each case.
In 2018 the hospital received more than 17, 000 inpatients and another 25, 000 outpatients in total. 190 doctors and 380 caregivers, 39 psychologists and 29 ergotherapists monitor patients state.
